We are glad you have found us on-line and we are happy to keep in contact by email or messages, but we also look forward to meeting you in person.
You may have questions about God, or Jesus, or the Holy Spirit and we will listen and discuss these with you. You may want to know more about our church and we are happy to share that with you. You may want to get involved in our community work and we can tell you more about what we do.
We want to help each other in our relationship with God. We worship together on a Sunday. We have a prayer room as a quiet space when the church building is open and there are suggestions for prayer here. There are occasional discussions to help explore and deepen our faith which appear in our notices and what’s on page.
We want to help each other grow to show God’s love to others. That may be by taking part in running church activities, by getting involved in community initiatives, or by campaigning for a fairer world. We will help you to find where you can make a difference.
Please talk to Simon, Adella, one of the Elders or Carol and we will put you in touch with the people who can help.

Sunday Worship
You can see what we are like by coming along when we meet to worship God on a Sunday morning at 10:30 in the church building. Or you can join us then on Zoom – email swanseaurc@outlook.com for the link. There are children’s activities.
There are people to welcome you at the door from 10am and coming a few minutes before the start of the service will give you time to find a seat and settle. There is flat access to the building for wheelchairs and pushchairs and an accessible toilet.
Our worship includes singing hymns and praying with prayers said by the worship leader. We hear readings from the Bible and listen to reflections on their meaning and relevance for today. During the service a bag is passed round for those who want to make a donation – it is a symbol of offering our time and talents to be part of God’s work in the world, as well as helping to meet the costs of the church and the building.
On the first Sunday of the month, we share bread and wine in Communion, to remember the living, dying and rising of Jesus and to look to the time when God’s will is done on earth as in heaven. Everyone is welcome to share.
At the end of the service we ask God’s blessing on each other, praying together, ‘The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with us all, evermore, Amen.’
The worship lasts about an hour and afterwards we have tea and coffee available, and people stay to chat
Children’s activities on Sunday
Part way through the worship the children leave for their own activities with a crèche for pre-school children in other rooms. The adult leaders have had DBS checks and safeguarding training.
